Danya Gorbatenko
Danya Gorbatenko, a design engineer and industrial designer, joined the project team. Thanks to his skills, Danya was able to design the enclosures of all the sensors.
Dima Oparin made the first version of the sensors – he designed the electronics and wrote the software. The 4 sensors created were able to collect data and write them to a microSD. This was the first version of the system in use today.
Then we had a stable where our guys worked and there was Elena the groom with whom we had a friendly cooperation agreement.
Every day we took training readings of 4 or 5 horses using the new sensors. Elena made a dataset, downloaded the data from the microSD and sent it to us for further analysis.
These datasets served as the first baseline for the next version of Machine Learning. The process of training the neural network already worked specifically on each horse’s leg. The accuracy of movement signature detection improved fundamentally.
The process of analysis and learning of the horse’s trajectory lasted until the 24th of February 2022.
And then war broke out in Ukraine!
